Collegium Advisors is an independent, full-service corporate finance and valuation advisor.

As an integrated advisor, we offer the combination of deal-making and valuation expertise. Our areas of focus include Corporate Finance, Valuation Advisory and Fixed Asset Solutions and encompasses services such as Mergers and Acquisitions, Due Diligence, Restructuring, Intangible Asset Valuation, Business Valuation, Accounting Valuation and Insurance Valuation.

Our team has extensive professional experience with clients ranging from governments to privately held- and publicly traded corporates to investment firms. We have the ability to leverage our network to complement our team of professionals by adding specific sector-expertise and/or legal support to our engagement teams in order to assemble the best team available for our clients.

Joachim Schulz

Joachim Schulz is the Managing Director of Collegium Advisors. Joachim has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance and valuation advisory including mergers & acquisitions, privatizations, financial and operational restructuring, financial due diligence, and strategy and valuation advisory.

 

Joachim is a native German speaker and fluent in both Dutch and English. Joachim’s areas of expertise includes transaction support, pre- and post deal value analysis, and due diligence investigation in virtually all sectors and industries. Joachim has significant expertise in measuring value for business valuations, independent opinions for investment/divestment, (re)financing, accounting, and tax purposes.

 

Joachim founded Collegium Advisors with a focus on corporate finance and valuation services. Before launching Collegium, Joachim was a Managing Director at American Appraisal, Duff & Phelps, and a Director at KPMG Corporate Finance. Within KPMG Joachim was responsible for the Restructuring activities serving shareholders and lenders in mergers & acquisitions, developing business plans (preserving and creating value) and working on operational and financial restructuring.

 

Joachim’s recent experience includes major sell-side assignments as a lead advisor in the area of private companies and privatization of state-owned businesses, the valuation and deal structuring of noncore activities of Top 500 companies, and purchase price allocations in various industries.

Thamar Blankers

Thamar joined Collegium Advisors in 2017 and manages the day-to-day administrative activities, including management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, team logistics and scheduling, marketing and various other administrative duties.

 

Prior to Thamar’s involvement at Collegium Advisors, Thamar was employed by Duff & Phelps and American Appraisal. Thamar also worked as a Sales & Marketing Manager for a Taiwanese company, where Thamar was responsible for the sales in Southern and Eastern Europe

Edwin Dekker

Edwin Dekker is a Managing Consultant at Collegium Advisors. Edwin has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, including financial modelling,  financial and operational restructuring, strategy advisory and mergers & acquisitions,

Before joining Collegium in 2021 Edwin worked for CGI Logica, KPMG and his own consultancy firm.

 

 

 

Bryn Watkins

Bryn Watkins is a Consultant at Collegium Advisors, focused on valuation services for both private and public stakeholders.

 

Since working at Collegium Advisors, Bryn has worked on a diverse set of projects including Purchase Price Allocations, large scale insurance valuations, and valuations for fund raising purposes.

 

Before joining Collegium Advisors, Bryn had extensive experience working for Santander UK in London. As a management trainee Bryn was first involved in several aspects of banking, before moving on to a role as an economist in the CFO division. Having worked with micro and macro-economic models, Bryn is knowledgeable of industry trends and economic impacts that affect our clients. Furthermore, Bryn has completed internships working with the Government Economic Service in the UK and with a venture capital fund in the Netherlands.

Enno Zeelenberg

Enno Zeelenberg is a Consultant at Collegium Advisors, focused on valuation services for both private and public stakeholders.

 

Enno started working as a Consultant at Collegium Advisors in 2021 after completing an internship at Collegium Advisors in the fall of 2020. Before joining Collegium Advisors, Enno worked as an Audit Working Student at KPMG for companies in the Financial Services sector. Enno completed a MSc in Finance & Investments at the Rotterdam School of Management.

 

Lars Brinkman

Lars Brinkman is a Consultant at Collegium Advisors, focused on valuation services for both private and public stakeholders.

Lars started working as a Consultant at Collegium Advisors in January 2022. Before joining Collegium Advisors, Lars worked as an Employer Services Auditor at the Teacher’s Retirement System of Illinois in Springfield, Illinois.

Lars completed a MSc in Business Administration at the University of Illinois Springfield.

 

 

 

Intern

Perry Katsaounis

Perry has been working as an intern at Collegium since May 2023. He is currently attending the MSc. in Finance & Investments at Erasmus University. Before relocating to Rotterdam, Perry worked for a boutique financial advisory, a SaaS company and other roles in Greece and the U.S.. Perry completed a BSc. in Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business

Intern

Albert Jan Hoven

Albert Jan started working as an intern at Collegium Advisors in April 2023. Before joining Collegium advisors, Albert Jan worked as an intern for Rabobank in the Acquisition Finance Department. Albert Jan completed his Bsc. In Business sciences at the University of Wageningen. During his bachelor he also completed courses at LSE and Universität Bern. From September he will be attending the Msc. in Finance & Investments at Rotterdam School of Management.

Julian Schulz

Julian is working as intern for Collegium since November 2021. He studies BSc. Business Administration at the University of Amsterdam.

Nelly Le Noble

Nelly has been involved with Collegium Advisors since 2017 and is responsible for all Human Resource related activities of the firm. Additionally, Nelly supports the team with various administrative tasks.

 

Prior to Collegium Advisors, Nelly worked as a medical researcher and as a practice manager at a medical clinic.
